Flash photography is not allowed when taking photos of wildlife. Professional photography and videos recorded for commercial purposes must be authorized by the Galapagos National Park. Drones are not permitted by tourists and are against the rules imposed by the Galapagos National Park Authority.

What should I pack for the trip?

It’s recommended to bring comfortable, lightweight clothing suitable for warm weather, swimwear, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and sturdy walking shoes. For cooler months, a water-repellent jacket or poncho and lightweight pants are essential.

Satellite internet is available on the M/V Galapagos Legend. Internet plans are available upon request.

What is the check-in procedure at Quito or Guayaquil’s airport?

A complimentary round-trip shuttle to and from the airport is offered for passengers cruising with the Go Galapagos fleet. Check-in time is 2 hours before departure. Upon arrival at the airport, proceed through luggage control with SICGAL, then visit the AVIANCA counter where a Go Galapagos Ecuador representative will assist you with your boarding pass and travel documents.
