During the day, most guests on board Ambience opt for casual, comfortable clothing. For each evening on board, the Daily Programme will suggest a mode of dress that suits that particular evening’s event.
On evenings proposed as ‘smart’, a suit or smart jacket and trousers (with or without a tie) is suggested for men, and a cocktail dress or trouser suit for women.
On formal evenings, men are requested to wear a lounge suit, with many opting for dinner jackets, while women have the chance to dress up in evening wear such as a cocktail dress. Please note that jeans, T-Shirts, shorts and open neck shirts are not permitted in the main restaurant on Formal or Gala evenings.
A ‘casual’ recommendation means the choice of dress is left entirely to you, and often covers evenings spent in port or when a special event such as a deck party is scheduled.
